The solution was simple-build a better mousetrap. But how do you do that? To continue to capitalize on their online success Stylefeeder hired Kodis Interactive to solve this problem. Knowing that there is always a better way, Kodis and Stylefeeder worked together to create a fully immersive Flash shopping experience.  With the understanding that each shopper has the ability to sift through over 100,000 products Kodis Interactive an intuitive set of controls to help simplify the search results.  By adjusting brand, style, color, and price to find specific items, users are able to filter more directed results thus insuring a better outcome.

Unique to their product StyleFeeder employs “negative filtering” to the refinement process. While you can often search for what you want, you can’t always let the system know what you don’t want. This helps the user quickly focus their searches without having to deal with the clutter of irrelevant data. By keeping things simple and refining the user experience with forward thinking ideas such as “negative filtering”, StyleFeeder’s Explorer continues to lead the pack in innovation.

Throughout the design and development process Kodis Interactive aided in every facet of the project. From the early sketches to the final application Kodis’s team worked hand-in-hand with StyleFeeder’s internal staff. We continually sought user input to mold, Explorer into a web-first application. Hours of rigorous refinements to the user interface, Flash, and databases have led Kodis and Stylefeeder to create a one of a kind application that will set the standard for applications of this kind in the future.
